Kaylen & Kevin, 9.3.2016, Oregon | Images by © http://www.MoscaStudio.com #moscastudio #oregonbride

This was a FUN wedding! Kaylen and I had met many times years before, and have even worked on several shoots together. When she became engaged to Kevin, she came to me for her wedding day’s photography and I could not have been more excited! It was a beautiful early September day, in a friend’ backyard, in Hillsboro Oregon, with just about everyone working together to make it happen. The groom himself even built the free-standing door they walked though at the ceremony! Not the mention the stage where sweetheart table was on and the awesome dance floor covered in rungs. What a beautiful country chic wedding day, filled with food cart goodness, Cooper the Burmese Mountain Dog, and plenty of LOVE! Thank you Kaylen and Kevin for having me there to capture your day! XO!

Claire & Stephen | 9.24.2016 Millenium Park, Lake Oswego, OR | Images by © http://MoscaStudio.com #moscastudio

This was one of those simple, quaint, beautiful wedding days to remember. I (Alice) worked alongside one of our fantastic associate photographers (Courtney) on Claire & Stephen’s day, one beautiful autumn afternoon in September. Millennium Park Plaza in Lake oswego was filled with the busy Saturday market happening while the bridal party was getting ready. Carisa and her team at Adornment Events had nothing but a one and a half hour window to turn the park from public market, to private wedding events. We were impressed! The day was flawless and sunny and beautiful. The vendor team worked in unison to make sure Claire & Stephen married without worrying about logistics, and I can honestly say that I have never been so entertained and LOLing during a wedding ceremony, ever! This is a group of happy and hilarious people, which show in their demeanor and interaction. Courtney and I had such a good time photographing them and we’re excite to show the resulting Sneak Peek. Thank you for looking through and to the fab vendors who made the day happen!

A beautiful March wedding day in Portland: The Nines, Old Laurelhurst Church and Evergreen PDX with photography by MoscaStudio

Brandy is a fellow wedding vendor in in Oregon, co-owning the beautiful The Old Schoolhouse in Newberg. We hit it off right away when we first met (over instagram, of all places!) and have worked together in fun and creative collaborations since. When the time came for Mark to propose to Brandy, they contacted us to be their wedding photographer, which is a huge honor! We documented their whole story, from engagement session, to engagement party, to wedding day. Here is a summary of their March 5th 2016 wedding day, with a bit of drizzle (which is to be expected for March in Oregon) and a whole lot of elegance! Brandy is absolutely stunning in her mermaid dress and veil. I visualized noir elegance for her wedding day, and that is exactly what I created for them. You don’t always need bright sunshine and blue skies to make a wedding day photogenically beautiful! <3

Jenna & Carlos | Hacienda La Escoba, Guadalajara, Mexico Wedding Day | Images by © http://MoscaStudio.com #moscastudio #weddingstyle #bodacarlosandjenna #haciendalaescoba

An absolutely stunning wedding weekend in Guadalajara, Mexico! Jenna & Carlos celebrated with 300 guests over that weekend with an excursion to Tlaquepaque during the day, engagement party at Los Tres Potrillos restaurant that evening, and full wedding day at the historic Hacienda La Escoba from until 5am the following morning. It was absolutely unforgettable because of it’s beauty, and because of the incredible people I got to meet! Not just the beautiful bride and groom, but the vendors involves in the celebration and the local Guadalajara photographers I had the pleasure of meeting in person after years of social media connections. The world is increasingly smaller and as such, people have more opportunities to travel and meet new friends across all borders. I travelled to Jenna & Carlos’ destination wedding in Mexico last summer 2015 and it was one of the best experiences of my carrier! Being fluent in Spanish helped facilitate all communication with vendors and the fabulous second shooter I hired to help me (Paulina! Gracias bella! Y gracias a Alejandro tanbien!). I can’t wait to go back! <3
